Creating an application

Applications for ship time are submitted in our access portal. The first step is to create a user profile where you specify who you are and contact details. This is also where you register CV as a pdf.

The second step is to create a project. The project must describe the type of research you perform and in what context you need to use R/V Skagerak. If you are creating an application for a course this is where you add the course description. The project is saved and can be used in several applications later.

Once you have created a user profile and a project is the time to create an application. In the application you describe the expedition you want to conduct, how many participants, what equipment on board you would like to use as well as where and when the expedition should take place.
