West Coast Maritime Week 2019

Kristineberg Marine Research Station (former Lovén Centre Kristineberg) participates during West Coast Maritime Week 2019 with the following program:

Wet submarine walk in Bökevik
Here snorkelers may see all exciting life living in the important eelgrass beds. The snorkel path constists of a 200 metre-long rope at a depth of 1-1,5 metres, with signs describing different plants and animals in the sea. We lend wetsuit, mask, snorkel and fins, but all snorkeling is on your own risk. If no wind and no rain, scientists will film with drones from above to show distribution of eelgrass beds in Bökevik.
Time: Monday 5 August and Wedenesday 7 August, at 13.00-15.00
